Last updated: March 22, 2026  ·  Effective: March 21, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Tabillo Inc. ("Tabillo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through the Tabillo platform and website (collectively, the "Platform"). It covers:

  • What personal information we collect and why
  • How we use and share that information
  • Your rights and choices regarding your data
  • How we keep your information secure
  • How to contact us with questions or requests

This Policy applies solely to information collected through the Tabillo Platform. It does not cover information collected by third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked from our Platform.

By using the Tabillo Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please discontinue use of the Platform.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a Tabillo account, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Company or organization name
  • Password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your plaintext password)
  • Any profile information you choose to add

Payment Information

If you purchase AI credits or upgrade to a paid plan, payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment processor. Tabillo does not store your credit card number, expiry date, or CVV on our servers. We receive only a transaction confirmation and a tokenized reference from Stripe. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Usage Data

When you use the Platform, we automatically collect information about how you interact with it, including:

  • Pages and features accessed, and time spent on each
  • Actions taken within the Platform (e.g., creating roadmap items, running AI features)
  • Referring URLs and exit pages
  • Error logs and performance data

Device and Log Information

Our servers and analytics tools automatically record:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Device type
  • Date and time of requests
  • Pages viewed and referring addresses

Communications

When you contact us by email or through the Platform, we collect the information you provide — including your name, email address, and the content of your message — in order to respond to you and improve our support.

Workspace Content

Content you create within the Platform — such as roadmap initiatives, timelines, team structures, and AI-generated suggestions — is stored on our servers to provide you the service. This content is yours, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond operating and improving the Platform.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create, maintain, and operate your account
  • Provide and improve the Tabillo Platform and its features
  • Process payments and manage billing
  • Verify your identity and secure your account
  • Send transactional communications (e.g., account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts)
  • Send product updates and announcements (you may opt out of marketing emails at any time)
  • Analyze usage trends and conduct statistical analysis to improve the Platform
  • Respond to support inquiries and resolve issues
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Protect the rights, property, and safety of Tabillo, our users, and the public

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your workspace content for paid accounts to train AI models without your prior explicit consent. Tabillo participates in Anthropic's Development Partner Program; development-session interactions with Claude may be shared with Anthropic to improve their services, and do not include your workspace content.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers

We use trusted third-party service providers to help operate the Platform. These providers have access to personal information only as necessary to perform their services, and are contractually obligated to protect it:

  • Vercel Inc. — Platform hosting and content delivery
  • Neon Inc. — Cloud database infrastructure
  • Resend Inc. — Transactional email delivery
  • Stripe, Inc. — Payment processing
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics) — Usage analytics and traffic reporting
  • Anthropic, PBC — Intelligence features powered by the Claude API

Legal Requirements

We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or government request; to enforce our Terms of Service; to protect the rights or safety of Tabillo, our users, or others; or to detect or prevent fraud or security issues.

Business Transfers

If Tabillo is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other corporate transaction, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Cookies and Tracking

The Platform uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to recognize returning users, maintain your session, and remember your preferences. Cookies help us provide a consistent and secure experience.

We also use Google Analytics, which places its own cookies to collect anonymized data about how users navigate the Platform. This data helps us understand traffic patterns and improve the product. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

You may configure your browser to refuse cookies or to notify you when cookies are being set. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of parts of the Platform.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform to you. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required by law to retain it longer, or where it is necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

Aggregated, anonymized data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

Security

Tabillo implements physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include:

  • Encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS) for all Platform traffic
  • Passwords stored using industry-standard hashing
  • Access controls limiting personal information to authorized personnel only
  • Regular review of our data collection, storage, and processing practices

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at support@tabillo.com.

Your Rights

As a resident of Canada, your rights regarding personal information are protected under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) (S.C. 2000, c. 5) and, where applicable, Ontario privacy legislation.

You have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information
  • Withdrawal of consent — Withdraw consent to our collection or use of your personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions (note that withdrawing consent may affect your ability to use the Platform)
  • Account deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated personal information
  • Complaint — File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe your privacy rights have been violated

To exercise any of these rights, please submit a written request to:

The Tabillo Platform is operated from Canada and is intended primarily for users in Canada and the United States. If you access the Platform from another jurisdiction, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada or the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

Tabillo is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through an in-app notice.
